Report inaccurate information
Anyone may report inaccurate, outdated, duplicate, or misleading listing information. Include the business name, the FindMyDetail listing URL, the information that appears wrong, and the correction you believe should be made.
If possible, include a current public source such as the business’s official website or social profile. We review reports against available information before changing a listing.
Business-owner correction or removal requests
A business owner or authorized representative may ask us to correct or remove a listing. State your name, your role or relationship to the business, the business name, the listing URL, and the exact change or removal requested.
Owners who want ongoing control of their information may also sign in and claim the listing. Claiming is optional and there is no fee to submit a correction or removal request.
How we verify authority
Before granting management access or removing a listing, we may verify authority through a business-domain email address, a call to the business’s publicly listed phone number, an official website or social account, state business records, or other reasonable evidence.
Do not email Social Security numbers, financial account details, passwords, or copies of government identification unless we specifically explain why a document is legally necessary and provide a secure way to send it.
What happens after review
We will review the request and may contact you for clarification or verification. We will correct verified inaccurate information. For a reasonably verified owner or authorized representative, we will remove the public listing unless we have a legal, safety, fraud-prevention, or dispute-related reason not to do so.
Removal means the listing will no longer be publicly displayed on FindMyDetail. Minimal internal records may be retained when reasonably necessary to document the request, comply with law, prevent an unwanted re-import, protect the Service, or resolve a dispute. Search-engine caches and third-party copies are outside our control.

- Your name and relationship to the business
- The exact correction or removal requested
- A business contact method we can use for verification
- Any relevant public source supporting the request
