Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and FindMyDetail LLC (“FindMyDetail,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) governing your access to findmydetail.com and our directory, account features, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).

By accessing the Service, creating an account, or clicking to accept these Terms, you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering a binding agreement to create an account or use account-based features. If you use the Service for a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that company to these Terms.

You must provide accurate information, keep it current, protect your credentials, and promptly notify us if you suspect unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity through your account. You may not create an account using another person’s identity or on behalf of a business without authorization.

FindMyDetail provides information to help users discover independent auto detailers, mobile detailers, detail shops or studios, and hand-wash businesses. FindMyDetail is not a detailing company, employment agency, insurer, broker, agent, or representative of any listed business or user.

FindMyDetail does not book appointments, set a detailer’s prices, or become a party to an agreement between a user and a detailer. Any quote, appointment, warranty, damage claim, or other service arrangement is solely between you and the detailer.

A listing, ranking, badge, rating, review count, distance estimate, or search position is informational and does not mean that FindMyDetail endorses, certifies, licenses, insures, or guarantees a business.

Vehicle owners may post a general location, vehicle details, photographs, requested work, and other information so eligible detailers can submit estimates. Do not include a precise home address, visible house number, government document, person’s face, license plate, or other unnecessary personal information in a request or photograph.

A quote is based only on the information available when it is submitted. Unless the detailer expressly agrees otherwise after inspection, every quote is an estimate that may change when the vehicle is inspected or when its actual condition, size, access, or requested work differs from the posting.

FindMyDetail does not verify every posting or quote, guarantee that a user will receive or accept a quote, or guarantee a detailer’s identity, qualifications, insurance, availability, price, workmanship, or result. Users and detailers are responsible for evaluating one another and agreeing directly on final scope, price, scheduling, payment, cancellation, warranty, and damage terms.

Contact information supplied with a request is intended to be available only to the detailer whose quote the owner accepts. You may use contact information received through the Service only to discuss that request and may not sell it, add it to an unrelated marketing list, or use it for unsolicited communications.

Listing information may come from detailers, their representatives, public websites and directories, or other third-party sources. Businesses change names, services, prices, hours, locations, availability, ratings, and contact information. We work to improve the directory but do not warrant that any listing is complete, current, accurate, or available.

Contact the detailer directly to verify services, pricing, timing, service area, qualifications, licensing, insurance, products used, and any terms that matter to you. Distance figures are estimates based on available location data and may not reflect driving distance, travel time, or a mobile detailer’s actual service area.

A business owner or authorized representative may request a listing correction or removal by emailing info@findmydetail.com. We may request reasonable verification before changing a listing.

If you submit, claim, or manage a business listing, you represent that you are authorized to do so. You are responsible for keeping information accurate; describing services, qualifications, results, prices, and availability honestly; maintaining any licenses, permits, insurance, and registrations required for your work; complying with consumer-protection, advertising, environmental, tax, and other applicable laws; and performing all agreements you make with customers.

If the Service allows you to submit listing details, reviews, photographs, messages, responses, or other content (“User Content”), you retain your ownership rights. You grant FindMyDetail a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, and sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, format, adapt, publish, display, distribute, and otherwise use that User Content as reasonably necessary to operate, promote, secure, and improve the Service.

You represent that you have the rights needed to submit the User Content and that it is accurate where presented as fact. Do not submit confidential information; content that infringes intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or other rights; deceptive or manipulated reviews; unlawful, threatening, hateful, obscene, or harassing material; malware; or content that exposes another person’s sensitive information.

We may moderate, refuse, remove, or retain User Content, but we are not obligated to monitor all content. Removal from public display does not necessarily delete copies required for security, legal, backup, or dispute-resolution purposes.

You may not:

• Use the Service for fraud, harassment, unlawful discrimination, impersonation, or any illegal purpose.
• Interfere with the Service, bypass security or access controls, probe for vulnerabilities without written permission, introduce malicious code, or overload our systems.
• Use bots or automated means to create accounts, submit content, send unsolicited messages, or manipulate rankings, ratings, traffic, or search results.
• Scrape, harvest, copy in bulk, republish, sell, or commercially exploit the Service or listing compilation—including to create or augment a competing directory, lead list, or machine-learning dataset—without our prior written permission, except to the extent applicable law does not permit this restriction.
• Remove ownership notices, reverse engineer protected portions of the Service, or use FindMyDetail’s name or branding in a way that suggests endorsement or affiliation.

We may use reasonable technical and legal measures to investigate and stop prohibited activity.

The Service—including its software, design, branding, text, graphics, original content, selection and arrangement of information, and other materials—is owned by FindMyDetail or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property and other laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose. No other rights are granted. Facts about businesses may belong to their respective sources and are not claimed as FindMyDetail-owned merely because they appear in the directory.

The Service may link to detailer websites, phone numbers, maps, social profiles, review sources, or other third-party services. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, availability, security, privacy practices, products, statements, or transactions. A link does not imply endorsement. Your use of a third-party service is governed by that party’s terms and policies.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” FINDMYDETAIL DISCLAIMS ALL EXPRESS, IMPLIED, AND STATUTORY WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AVAILABILITY, AND QUIET ENJOYMENT.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE OR ANY LISTING WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, CURRENT, SECURE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR ERROR-FREE; THAT A DETAILER WILL RESPOND OR BE SUITABLE; OR THAT ANY DETAILING WORK WILL MEET YOUR EXPECTATIONS OR AVOID LOSS OR DAMAGE. YOU USE THE SERVICE AND CHOOSE AND ENGAGE DETAILERS AT YOUR OWN RISK. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN DISCLAIMERS, SO SOME OF THIS SECTION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FINDMYDETAIL AND ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AFFILIATES, AND LICENSORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES; LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OPPORTUNITIES; VEHICLE OR PROPERTY DAMAGE; PERSONAL INJURY; OR DISPUTES, ACTS, OR OMISSIONS INVOLVING A DETAILER OR OTHER THIRD PARTY, EVEN IF ADVISED THAT SUCH DAMAGES ARE POSSIBLE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED $100. THESE LIMITATIONS APPLY TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED IN YOUR JURISDICTION.

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless FindMyDetail and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, and licensors from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, judgments, costs, and reasonable attorneys’ fees arising from your User Content, your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms or law, or—for detailers—your listings, representations, services, customer relationships, and business operations. We may control the defense of a covered matter, and you agree to cooperate reasonably.

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access; remove content; or decline to provide the Service if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, created risk or legal exposure, harmed another person, or misused the Service. We may also change or discontinue any part of the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnification, and dispute terms—will survive.

We may update these Terms as the Service changes. We will post the revised Terms and update the effective date. If changes materially affect existing account holders, we will provide additional notice when required. Your continued use after revised Terms take effect means you accept them; if you do not agree, you must stop using the Service.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing a claim, you and FindMyDetail agree to make a good-faith effort for 30 days to resolve it informally after written notice describing the dispute and requested resolution.

If the dispute is not resolved, the parties consent to exclusive jurisdiction and venue in the state and federal courts located in Georgia, except where applicable consumer law gives you a non-waivable right to bring a claim elsewhere. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.

These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and FindMyDetail about the Service unless a separate written agreement applies. If a provision is unenforceable, it will be enforced to the greatest lawful extent and the remaining provisions will continue. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a reorganization, sale, or transfer of the Service. Section headings are for convenience only.
